I’m a mid 30’s knitter and crocheter.
I live in Cardiff with the wonderful Mark and I’m a bit of a yarn-a-holic.
I started knitting just before my youngest brother and his wife had their first baby. My grandfather was a brilliant knitter and he’d always make baby clothes for any new arrivals in the family. Sadly he passed away before #niece1 came along and my Nan commented one day that it would be a shame the baby wouldn’t have anything hand knitted.
I made a tongue-in-cheek comment that perhaps I’d learn to knit which she took quite seriously… so it was actually learn to knit or disappoint my grandmother.
The rest as they say, is history!
Crochet followed a few years later and whilst I do enjoy crocheting, knitting is definitely my preference.
